Sport has always been a very strong characteristic of the city. There are many opportunities here for practising all the various sports, and also many occasions where sport becomes show : from the show business of Juventus and Torino to the Turin Marathon and the many varied manifestations involving all the different sports. The communal sporting infrastructures include several stadiums, gymnasiums and golf courses, a swimming pool, a skating rink and two racecourses. It is also easy to play golf, which is attracting an increasing number of enthusiasts here, thanks to the many golf courses in the city.
