footpaths and walkways along with the gîtes and
mountain huts, offers the best conditions in which to carry

Ski-ing
The existing lift systems play a major role with the tourist
facilities available in the valley.
At present the list consists of :
the ski runs of Brèvent-Flégère,
the ski runs of Grands Montets,
the ski runs of the Balme,
the Montenvers railway and the cable-cars giving access to
the 'Mer de Glace',
the Aiguille du Midi cable-car,
The lower valley ski runs (Planards, Savoy..).
